Adam’s Peace

These are a few words about me from my perspective.

I am a young man with a purpose. I was born in 1980, so if you can do simple arithmetic, you can figure out my age accurately enough for most purposes. I won’t tell you that I am 26 years old, because then I would have to update this page on my birthday every time it comes around, and I’m more than likely to forget for several months afterward.

My purpose is to bring peace to everybody.

It seems like a simple purpose, one that only an impossible dreamer would follow. I can assure you that it is neither simple nor impossible. In order to bring peace to other people, even just one other person, I need to identify what brings peace into my own life. Once I have done that, I need to identify what motivates me to pursue that peace. Finally, I need to share it with others. When I share it with others, though, I need to be careful. I can not take away anybody’s liberty, because without liberty, there is no peace. I also need to present my findings in a way that other people can learn completely, because I’m not the only person who is working to spread peace. I hope that everybody who visits here finds the desire to spread peace around, so I feel that I am teaching the teachers, who have to know the subject completely enough that they can turn around and make other teachers out of there students.

With enough people teaching peace, world peace is possible.

I am a computer nerd. I write sloppy programs and set up networks. I am married, and have been since 2002. Just like with my birthday, if I said that my fifth anniversary was coming up shortly, then I would be wrong after the anniversary, and I don’t know how soon after I’ll update this page, so it is better for you to do the math.
