Very great answer Adam.

You and I are in agreement on so many things.

I call the "Super-Consciousness" the ALL. And I agree that it's ultimate goal is to learn of the self.

I talk about these concepts in my Justifying Life post.

Thanks for answering my questions. I just wanted to give you some fodder for your mind. :)

You have a great style of writing.

Blessings,

Hey Adam,

Great to have you back! Was wondering where you had gone... I like your longer style of articles, and the thoughtful insight you bring to them.

Even if you only post once a week, you're still out there, adding to the community and your site.

Blessings,
KL

Hi Adam,

It's such a shame you're having to work at balancing the different parts of your life like that. Best of luck with everything!

I don't know if you currently have a question brewing, but I got one for you -- one that maybe only a Unitarian Universalist can properly answer!

You know how people say things like "Diana is an aspect of the Goddess", or "the God appeared in his Trickster aspect", and so forth? Well, what does that really mean?

Are the "lower" dieties like costumes that are worn by the "higher" dieties? Or is it more like the slightly different personalities we have at work vs. at home? Or is each "aspect" more like a lens through which we view the higher diety?

And since I've got you on the line, let me ask an even deeper question: why do the higher dieties even have aspects?

Thanks in advance!

I used to believe in soul mates, but I think every relationship adds to our souls. How can we distinguish between who is perfect match for our soul and who isn't? At the end I think I'll look back and appreciate my wife's love and know that she helped me be a better person, but there are so many people willing to love and appreciate.

So I believe, Adam, that you’re right. Why limit ourselves to looking too hard? When all the love that is in our lives should be enjoyed for what it is, not perfect, but still wonderful.
